A Christmas Message From Our Founder
We may not all be able to get together this Christmas, but after a year like 2020, we’ve been reminded of what is really important — our health, our families, friendship and being part of a community from which we gain a sense of belonging and ‘togetherness’.
For me, what really matters is that people feel connected, even if they can’t physically be in the same space, and throughout this year our team of hosts at Citysocializer have volunteered hundreds of hours of their time to help make that happen.
Like other small businesses we have faced challenges to survive the pandemic, and our hosts have helped us to continue fulfilling our mission to deliver happiness, wellness and belonging for others by hosting fun, creative and welcoming virtual events for people to come together throughout what has been an isolating and difficult year.
I, and everyone who has found solace and amazing friendships through these events, are incredibly grateful to them.
And it hasn’t stopped! Every night this weekend and beyond, through to the new year, we have even more interactive virtual events being hosted via Zoom for anyone and everyone who could do with some company, some laughs, feeling the joy of friendship, camaraderie and meeting new people to join in with.
I’d like to wish everyone, however you are celebrating, whether virtually or in-person, a very Merry Christmas.
Sanchita x
